Set against the lush, primeval landscapes of Taiwan, this gallery marks the beginning of an extraordinary chapter in Ajmal Samuel’s quest to break barriers. In a country known for its dramatic mountains and moody coastlines, Ajmal—an elite endurance athlete and paraplegic—took flight for the first time in a custom-built paragliding chair. 

 

In full view of seasoned pilots and instructors, he committed to a leap of faith, hurling himself from a high ridge with the quiet courage of a man who has spent a lifetime confronting the improbable. This was no stunt, no show of bravado—but a carefully earned triumph.
